3Bdrm, 2bath+den home across from a PRIVATE lake. Approx 5 miles from the mountain/slopes~worth the ride, worth the price.
2 decks: the front looks out at the Lake, the back has a grill and of course the hot tub. FP(free wood), 2 cable TVs, DVD, CD, VCR, stereos. Acclaimed Master bedroom with King bed, huge bathroom with 2 person tub. Walk-in closet. and within a short distance to the state parks etc.

lake, for Spring and Summer. 6-7 mi. ride to slopes for cost-effective winter visits.
~ Private, on site Totlot, pond and picnic pavilion for exclusive use
**we own the lot next to the house, and keeping it empty for extra privacy
*key safe at door for leisurely arrival, and safekeeping during your stay.

We started vacationing in Canaan in 1992. So by 2000 when we bought AN INTERLUDE, we had an idea on how we wanted to be treated as a Guest at a vacation rental. By 2005 when we added our 2nd rental, we were sure our business model was working.

We started vacationing in Canaan in 1992, and since we vacationed (somewhat) frequently, we felt owning a place and applying rentals to the expenses, and having appreciation, we would have a hedge on retirement.

OUR PRICING IS COMPETITIVE, OUR HOME IS COMFORTABLE AND HAS JUST THE RIGHT AMENTITIES WIDE SCREEN tv FOR MOVIES OR A SPORTS EVENT A FLOOR TO CEILING FP TO WARM YOU ON A CHIILY DAY A HOT TUB A KING SIZE BED IN THE MASTER BATH A DEN TO PROVIDE AN ALTERNATE PLACE TO SLEEP OR WATCH TV FREE NIGHTS AND A DISCOUNT FOR PREFERRED GUESTS
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have actually vacationed in Canaan, at least 2X a year foor the 8 years prior to owning. We had a very good idea of what Guests are looking for... So, we offer specials, free nights, frequent guest discounts, in a high value home, thast is clean and well maintained. Our goal is 100% functional on the hot tub AND, we offer our Guests, our cell phone, so that if they have a question, need some attention, need directions, want to know the name of a restaurant, etc. etc. the answer is only a phone call away/
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
WE HAVE 2 LOCATIONS AND ONE EMPTY LOT. WE COULD DEVELOP THAT LOT IN THE FUTURE

We have 2 homes for rent; and a lot next to our ASPENWOODS home. We have no plans for expansion. In fact, since we are at retirement age we would entertain an offer to buy, for our properties. And the new buyer could expand, by building their own home on the wooded lot next to ASPENWOODS. wE WOULD ALSO ENTERTAIN OFFERS TO BUY THAT.
